- Travel Vaccines
- Hepatitis A
- Hepatitis B
- Tetanus Booster
- Prescriptions for the prevention of Malaria, Typhoid, and traveler’s diarrhea
- Flight Physicals
- The FAA has designated John L. Burkard, MD, Senior Aviation Medical
Examiner to perform Class 1, 2, and 3 Medical Exams. All pilots, including
Airline Transport Pilots, can be accommodated. Aero medical exams are a
necessary part of your aviation career including Student Pilots, Private Pilots,
Commercial Pilots, and Airline-Transport Pilots.
Please Note:
- To schedule an appointment, please call our office. We can often
accommodate same day appointments for pilots.
- Prior to your appointment, you must complete the MedXpress
application online at https://medxpress.faa.gov/medxpress The
FAA will email you a confirmation number. Please have your
confirmation number available when you check in for your
appointment. If you do not complete the application or do not
have you confirmation number, we will not be able to see you and
your appointment will be cancelled.
- Please bring a government issued photo identification.
- If you wear contact lenses or glasses, please bring them or wear them
to the visit.
- While scheduling, please make the staff aware of any special issuances
or if you are a student pilot.
- Charges for pilots will be collected at the time of scheduling. These
charges are NON-REFUNDABLE. With greater than 24-hours notice,
your appointment may be rescheduled with the payment applied to
your new visit.
- If you cancel your appointment or reschedule with less than 24-
hours’ notice you will be required to pay the charges again prior to
scheduling a new appointment.
